Typical duties of the job include:
- Assessing and planning nursing care requirements
- Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
- Taking patient samples (including blood collection, giving injections & IV insertion), pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
- Writing records and maintaining proper record of patients’ files in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Organizing workloads
- Providing emotional support to patients and relatives
- Establish appropriate data collection system and procedures
- Receiving calls and fixing appointments
- Assisting the Doctor during procedures
- Arranging referral for the patients
- Communicating with insurance companies for approvals and re-approvals
- Keep a proper record of all claims settled and to be settled
- Maintain adequate supplies in the clinic and conduct periodic inventory
- Works related to DHA (License application, renewal, sick leave attestation etc.)
- Attending seminars and conferences.
